The streak continues, as the University of North Dakota men's hockey team is set to make its 13th straight NCAA Tournament appearance, as a number one seed in the tournament's West Region.

This will mark UND's 30th appearance overall in the tournament. The team has won seven national championships in men's hockey, which is second only to the University of Michigan's nine.

UND will begin their quest for an eighth championship when they host Quinnipiac, in Fargo, this Friday, March 27th, at 7pm. They game can be seen live on ESPNU.

UND earned the number one seed after going 27-9-3 during the season, according to UNDSports.com. That record led the team to the Penrose Cup, as the National Collegiate Hockey Conference's regular season champion.
