When I first saw the trailer for 'This Is The End', all I could think was "Great. Another apocalypse movie." However, once I learned the plot of the film, I was incredibly intrigued. The film did not disappoint.

'This Is The End' centers around actors Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, and Danny McBride, dealing with the apocalypse. Yes, they're actually playing themselves in the film, which makes it that much more hilarious.

The movie begins with Jay Baruchel arriving in Los Angeles to visit Seth Rogen. After smoking a bunch of weed and playing video games, Rogen suggests they venture over to James Franco's house for a housewarming. Baruchel reluctantly agrees and that's when they meet the rest of the cast.

The party at Franco's house is filled with a who's who of young Hollywood comedians: Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari, Mindy Kaling, and Michael Cera all make an appearance, among many others. While Rogen is having a blast hanging out with his LA friends, Baruchel feels completely out of place and wants to bail out. Rogen won't let allow that to happen, but he does agree to tag along with Baruchel to buy a pack of cigarettes.

While they're at the convenience store, the apocalypse begins. Baruchel and Rogen then rush out of the store and back to Franco's, where no one knows anything is happening. Unfortunately, they're about to find out as a massive sinkhole opens up in front of Franco's house, causing mass hysteria. The majority of the actors at the party fall to their untimely death, but the main characters survive and board themselves up in the house.

This is the point where the real hilarity starts. The interaction between the friends is some of the absolute funniest moments I've ever seen on film. One of my favorite scenes is James Franco and Danny McBride arguing over whether or not McBride should be masturbating in his house. Easily one of the funniest exchanges in the movie.

As the six men attempt to survive the apocalypse, they're faced with numerous problems: where to get more food and water, how to get Jonah Hill unpossessed, and what to do when Emma Watson returns for help. You'll have to see the movie to find out how they handle each situation.

If you're a fan of any of these actors, you'll definitely enjoy this movie. It almost seems like they're ad-libbing the majority of the film because it is so ridiculous. There are countless one liners...countless laugh-out-loud scenes...countless laughs, in general.

If you like to laugh and don't care about how ridiculous a movie premise might be, 'This Is The End' is, without question, a movie you should see. And, if at all possible, avoid Danny McBride if you ever run into him.
