As the years go by, life expectancy increases. But there is one city in North Dakota where that number increases the least.

24/7 Wall Street broke down the data to come up with the city in each state that has the lowest life expectancy.

Obviously there are a lot of factors that can lead to someone's death but in addition to looking at the average lifespan in different metro areas in each state, 24/7 Wall Street also looked at obesity rates and median household incomes.

In North Dakota, Grand Forks has the lowest life expectancy coming in at 78.8 years which is still a pretty full life. The obesity rate in Grand Forks is 29.7% and the media household income is $53,443.

Gadsden, Alabama has the lowest life expectancy in the country at 73.3 years.
