The Temperature North Dakotans Consider ‘Sweater Weather’

The Weather Channel did a fun study to find out the highest temperature in which a state's residents consider it 'sweater weather.'

Not surprisingly, the warm weather states don't enjoy a little bit of chill. In Arizona, Nevada and Florida, when temperatures are in the mid 60s, many people there will decide to put on a sweater before heading outside.

In North Dakota, we can tolerate the cold a little bit better. According to the report, which surveyed over 6,500 people across the US, sweater weather in North Dakota is 55 degrees.

In total, 11 states felt 55 degrees was sweater weather. The survey did not include Alaska or Hawaii. The state that tolerates cold the best appears to be our neighbors to the South. South Dakotans consider 51 degrees sweater weather.
