A wrist injury nearly ended Carson Wentz's career at North Dakota State, but the quarterback was able to battle back and lead the Bison to their fifth straight FCS championship.

'The Road,' produced by NDSU Athletics, follows Wentz's path to recovery, from injuring his wrist October 17th against South Dakota to returning for what would be his final college game against Jacksonville State in Frisco, Texas.

The short film features interviews with coaches, doctors, and even Easton Stick, who replaced Wentz at quarterback, while the senior was recovering. It also features footage from local and national television, including ESPN.

Wentz is expected to be one of the top quarterbacks picked in the 2016 NFL Draft. Some mock drafts have the Bismarck native going in the first round, while others have him falling into the second round.
