The Cult Scheduled to Rock the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on August 2nd

The schedule of performers set to rock the 2014 Sturgis Buffalo Chip stage continues to get better and better, as it has been announced that Ian Astbury and The Cult will take to the stage on August 2nd!

Sturgis Buffalo Chip President, Rod Woodruff, can't wait for the band's apperance:

The Cult bombards their fans with a rock beat that strikes a solid chord with Buffalo Chip fans. These guys have built a dedicated following over the years.  We’re thrilled they’re going to be part of the party this year.

The Cult is the first band announced to play the Sturgis Buffalo Chip main-stage on the nine-day festival's first Saturday. Other bands are expected to be announced soon.

Other main-stage performers at this year's Sturgis Buffalo Chip include Lynyrd Skynyrd (8/3), Motley Crue and Alice Cooper (8/5), and ZZ Top (8/6).
