On Friday night, the Los Angeles Kings put the finishing touches on their second Stanley Cup win in three years by defeating the New York Rangers 3-2 in overtime. After the win, the ice was quickly packed with friends and family of the players. One woman, in particular, probably regrets heading out on to the ice.

For the second time in three years, the Los Angeles Kings are Stanley Cup Champions and former UND defenseman Matt Greene helped them reach the top of the NHL mountain.

Alec Martinez scored the game-winning goal with 5:17 left in the second overtime, and the Kings beat the New York Rangers, 3-2, in Los Angeles on Friday night to win the 2014 Stanley Cup.
