As numerous women have come forward with extensive allegations of sexual abuse and harassment suffered at the hands of Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein, many more celebrities have weighed in — some sharing their own Weinstein horror stories and near misses, while others have applauded the bravery of his victims for speaking out; all of them condemning the actions of Weinstein and men like him. Not long after Ben Affleck issued his statement on Weinstein’s deplorable behavior, the actor was hit with allegations of his own.

In a new interview, Affleck described the ‘unorthodox’ process that led to the first live-action movie starring DC’s signature super-team.

The trend of more adult-oriented films commanding the box office continued this week with the success of The Accountant, which effortlessly snagged the number one spot. But like The Girl on the Train and The Magnificent Seven before it, Ben Affleck’s latest was strong without being enormous, meaning that word of mouth in the weeks ahead will prove vital to it being a proper hit.

Warner Bros. has planned one of the most ambitious trailer launches in history for their upcoming Man of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. On Monday, April 20, fans can attend a special event at IMAX theaters around the country where the new Batman v Superman trailer will debut after a special introduction from director Zack Snyder.
