Outside of their massive chompers, beavers seem like they'd be relatively docile creatures. A now-deceased man in Belarus would argue, though, that they're not very nice at all.

Before I even tell you this story, I'll admit that I'm a dog-lover. Three years ago, I adopted a 12-year old pug and basically gave her a second chance at life. So, reading stories like this really upset me. A blue-heeler in Wyoming survived being both shot and burned after it broke into a chicken coop.

Man is widely considered to be the deadliest animal on the planet, mostly because it's hard to match the killing power of our guns and nuclear bombs. Even so, there are plenty of lethal predators out there that are more than willing to take us on and, if fortune favors these creates in battle, rip a chunk out of our flesh, or even end our lives.
