Snow and fog were factors in a semi-truck and snow plow accident near Hebron, ND on I94.

The crash happened on I94, Sunday morning (April 8th) around 8 a.m. when a semi-truck driver was ticketed for careless operation according to North Dakota State Police.

The snow storm which moved through Bismarck this morning was moving from West to East and made travel conditions hazardous for the region. The accident took place near mile-marker 97 near Hebron.

According to Inforum, the truck driver, Trigve Hagen Jr., 45, Lodi, Calif., was coming up the rear of the snow plow, lost sight of it in the snow and fog and hit the plow from the back.

According to police reports, the damage was to the front end of the semi and the plow had damage to the left rear panel.

No injuries were reported.
