Signatures Nearing Amount Needed on Petition to Recall Bismarck Mayor

A mayoral reelection may not be far from happening in Bismarck.

As previously reported, there is a petition making the rounds in an attempt to recall Mayor Mike Seminary. The group calling for the recall is known as "Better Leadership for a Better Bismarck."

There are 1,898 signatures needed on the recall petition, and so far, there are approximately 1,800.

The petition makes mention of the mayor having misallocated city finances, supporting DAPL protesters, and ignoring public infrastructure needs.

The deadline for the collection of signatures needed for the petition is mid-April.
