After a vandalism incident in early July, Bismarck Parks and Recreation District directors are looking at some outdoor security options for Sleepy Hollow Theatre & Arts Park.

The outdoor facilities at the park currently have no security, but steps are being taken with security and internet companies to go over some options.

According to the Bismarck Tribune, Bismarck Parks and Recreation District Facilities and Programs Director, Kevin Klipfel, along with the park district's executive director, Randy Bina, are in the process of seeking out security components that may include video and remote surveillance.

This comes just weeks after three teenagers vandalized the Sleepy Hollow Theatre by smashing light bulbs, spray painted costumes and mirrors and broke a window. The vandalism caused a cancellation of that night's production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.'

Since the vandalism, the Sleepy Hollow group has received lots of support throughout the community, which includes fundraising efforts. Those funds may end up going toward installing new security.
