There are a lot of Fat Tuesday traditions around the world, including one from Poland that has made its way to my home state of Michigan.

Very similar to doughnuts, paczkis are deep-fried pieces of dough, filled with some sort of sweet filing.

The paczki is basically a last hurrah of sorts for those that observe Lent. If you're going to go big, you have a paczki or two on Fat Thursday.

What was surprising to me, though, was that a lot of my North Dakota coworkers had never heard of paczkis, so I decided to have Scott Mann try his first on camera.

Oh, and I gave him sixty seconds to eat the whole thing.
