If having The Cult play on the first Saturday of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip's nine-day music festival wasn't enough, they've just added Queensryche to the bill.

Saturday, August 2nd, Queensryche and The Cult will rock the main stage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

Here's what Sturgis Buffalo Chip President Rod Woodruff had to say about Queensryche and The Cult sharing the stage on August 2nd:

Queensrÿche and The Cult are a great combination of bands to help kick off the first weekend of the festival. Guests who have just arrived will be riding high in anticipation of the good times ahead, and these two bands’ explosive energy will keep them there.

Queensryche have been in the news quite a bit lately, mainly over the use of their name. That battle with former lead singer Geoff Tate ended relatively recently. You can check out the video for Queensryche's 'Ad Lucem', featuring new lead singer Todd La Torre below:

Other main-stage performers at this year’s Sturgis Buffalo Chip include Lynyrd Skynyrd (8/3), Motley Crue and Alice Cooper (8/5), and ZZ Top (8/6).
