A popular restaurant, located on Main St. in Mandan, has been forced to close its doors to the public, due to lack of consistent staffing.

Harvest Brazilian Grill recently made the closing announcement on Facebook, according to The Bismarck Tribune:

After much deliberation, we have decided to focus our energy and resources on our new catering and events business. Our space will continue to be available for private parties, events and group dining. This decision was not easy, but with the current state of our labor market, we simply are unable to properly or consistently staff the restaurant. As such, we have to shift our focus to what is manageable.

It seems the restaurant has changed its tune a bit since that Facebook post, though, as the post has been removed and the owners have responded to Facebook posts from patrons, informing them that the restaurant would be open on special dates.

The owners of Harvest Brazilian Grill also operate Station West, on Main St. in Mandan, and the James River Cafe, inside the Heritage Center in Bismarck.
