North Dakota 125th Anniversary Celebration Begins Saturday

Saturday begins the first of two events to celebrate our beautiful state of North Dakota's 125th anniversary of Statehood.

The state capitol mall will have events the entire day to celebrate including music, vendors and art and it is all FREE.

Then on Nov. 2, the second  event will take place at the North Dakota Heritage Center. A 97,000-square-foot expansion project will be completed and its grand reopening will continue the 125th anniversary celebration.

Both sates of North Dakota and South Dakota were granted statehood on Nov. 2, 1889.
