Effective this Friday, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be allowed to participate in team activities, after being reinstated by the NFL Thursday afternoon.

According to ESPN, Peterson received word of his reinstatement via a letter from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Peterson was suspended by the NFL back in November, after pleading no contest to misdemeanor reckless injury associated with disciplining his son in May of 2014.

While the reinstatement may sound like good news to Vikings fans, there is still the possibility of Peterson being shipped to another time. He has made his desire to play elsewhere known during his suspension.
