The FargoDome may start rocking even more during Bison games, if one NDSU student body president candidate has anything to say about it.

Junior Robert Kringler is currently running for student body president at NDSU and he says he and his running mate, sophomore Aaron Weber, would support alcohol sales at university games.

According to InForum, Kringler says that a portion of the revenue generated by alcohol sales at Bison games would be used for student scholarships.

Kringler also believes that allowing alcohol sales at the games would limit risky behavior before the games.

Both the University of North Dakota and the University of Minnesota already allow alcohol sales at their team's sporting events. The University of Minnesota has said that allowing alcohol sales during their games has reduced the number of alcohol-related incidents.

The issue of alcohol sales at Bison games has been brought up in the past, but often lacked support from administration. Kringler has stated that administrators are, at the very least, open to starting the conversation.

The NDSU student body president election will be held in April.
