My Top 5 Songs from Alice In Chains

This was the first single AIC released with new front man William DuVall and, if anything, the song put to rest the question 'Will Alice in Chains still sound the same?'

There are a lot of great tracks on the Dirt album, a few of which you'll see a bit later on this list. It's because of those songs that this one often gets overlooked, when it really belongs at the top of the list of Alice in Chains songs.

You can't have a list of the top Alice in Chains songs without including 'Man in the Box'. This is the song that put AIC on the map and is probably their most well known song. That guitar riff is probably one of the greatest of all-time.

How this song was never released as a single is beyond me. This is absolutely one of AIC's best songs and belongs near the top of any fan's list of their best songs. It perfectly exemplifies the sound that Alice in Chains would make their very own.

Truthfully, this spot could have gone to any other song on the list, but 'Them Bones' takes the cake as my favorite AIC song. I can't really explain why, outside of the fact that it's short, sweet, and heavy. This is one of those tunes that you crank up whenever it hits your speakers.
