Minnesota-based Surly Brewing recently announced that they will start distributing their delicious beers to three new states, one of which is North Dakota.

Formed in the early 2000s by founder and president Omar Ansari, Surly Brewing has become one of the more popular craft breweries in Minnesota and, beginning Monday, May 2nd, their beers will be available in bars, restaurants, and liquor stores all over North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

Surly will offer three beers on tap to start things out, including their American IPA/British ESB Furious, their German-style Munich Helles Lager Hell, and their West Coast IPA Overrated.

Other beers, including Bender, Coffee Bender, and Todd The Axe Man will be available in cans in liquor stores across the state, according to SurlyBrewing.com.

Unfortunately, the bars, restaurants, and liquor stores where Surly Brewing's beers will be available has not yet been confirmed. However, you can follow @SurlyBrewingND on Twitter to keep up-to-date on everything Surly Brewing-related in North Dakota.

You can also expect the staff of Surly Brewing to visit the state in the coming months, as they're currently planning events, showcases, and 'Surly Gives A Damn' community events in the new states their beer will be distributed in.
