A vicious fight broke out between fans Monday night, September 14th, after the Minnesota Vikings' 20-3 loss to the San Fransisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium.

The video, which according to Deadspin was uploaded to Facebook by Brandon Cosio, shows a Vikings fan getting brutally kicked and punched by a handful of 49ers fans.

Because the video joins the fight in the middle, it's tough to tell what led to this brutal attack. Luckily, Deadspin was able to talk to Cosio to give viewers an idea of how we got to this point:

The Viking fan in the video and a 49er fan NOT in the video were talking smack to each other, getting into each others faces. A lot of fans from both sides were telling both people to stop and just walk to their cars. The 49er fan then walked away from the situation and that’s when the Viking fan may have got a little cocky. The Viking fan turned around and addressed everyone behind him (mostly 49er fans). He said “ what’s up, any of you fuckers want some?!” At that point everyone went silent for 2 seconds then as the Viking fan was turning around to walk away, the 49er fan in the black (at the beginning of the video who threw the first punch) tackled him to the ground. That’s where the video starts.

A ton of credit goes to the single security who attempts to stop the fight. Granted, he wasn't able to do much, he at least had the testicular fortitude to jump in the middle of things and do whatever he could to try and break things up.
