Metallica are teaming up with Pandora to invite fans around the world to check out the legendary thrash band’s live show. Pandora will live stream Metallica’s Minneapolis performance on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 9PM CT.

Metallica’s Aug. 20 gig will help celebrate the opening of Minneapolis’ new U.S. Bank Stadium. The new home of the Minnesota Vikings will host Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat for the stadium’s inaugural rock concert. U.S. Bank Stadium holds a massive 70,000 people and the concert is completely sold out.

"We love being invited to the opening party of new buildings, so when the opportunity to break in the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis presented itself, we of course jumped at the chance," says Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich. "Thanks to our friends at Pandora, if you can't make it to Minneapolis, you'll still be able to partake in the festivities."

The members of Metallica have also created a special Pandora mixtape to commemorate the show. The mix features an eclectic mix of tunes handpicked by all four Metallica musicians.

Pandora will begin the live stream right as Metallica take the stage. For those who can’t catch the show in real time, fans can listen to the replay at this location.
