North Dakota Geological Survey and the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation want you to come and dig for fossils in Medora July 15th-17th.

Unearth part of history and have some fun in the Badlands and Medora with digging in Sentinel Butte Formation rocks that are  55-60 million years old.

The site is rich in a variety of swamp denizens, including crocodiles, giant salamanders, fish, champsosaurs, clams, snails, and more.

Cost to dig is $10 per person, maximum cost of $25 per family. Participants must be at least 12 years old - get your tickets online here.
