35-year old Jeramie Gruber was killed Wednesday morning, August 26th, while working inside U.S. Bank stadium, the soon-to-be home of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings.

According to InForum, Gruber and another worker were involved in the accident, which took place at approximately 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning.

John Wood, senior vice president for Mortenson Construction, stated that one of the workers fell 50 feet from the edge of the stadium roof and into a snow gutter.

The second worker is currently being treated for his injuries.

The Minnesota Vikings will move into U.S. Bank Stadium in 2016. The team currently plays their home games at TCF Bank Stadium, which is also home to the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
