Though he was able to last all three rounds, Leo 'The Lion' Kuntz still couldn't secure his first UFC victory, losing the decision to Tae Hyun Bang at UFC Fight Night 79 in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday, November 28th.

Bang controlled much of the fight and earned two 29-28 scores to give him the split decision over Kuntz, according to MMAJunkie.com.

Kuntz had a rear-naked choke locked in in the second round, but he wasn't able to get Bang to tap out. Bang also got Kuntz in a chokehold in the third round, but Kuntz was able to hold on and not tap out.

The loss is Kuntz's second in the UFC, after dropping his first fight to Islam Makhachev at UFC 187 earlier this year.

There was a bit of controversy before the fight, as Kuntz went from a slight underdog to an overwhelming favorite just hours before the fight, according to BloodyElbow.com. Some thought that maybe there was some sort of fix in or that perhaps Bang was injured, but that was never confirmed.

Kuntz does not have another fight currently scheduled in the UFC.
