Guns N’ Roses have 151.5 million reasons why “not in this lifetime” was a great idea for this lifetime. The band currently sits atop Pollstar’s mid-year chart for the Top Grossing tours with a whopping $151.5 million grossed.

The band’s “Not in This Lifetime” tour actually started in 2016, with fans flocking to indoor venues and stadiums to catch the return of Slash and Duff McKagan to the lineup, playing alongside Axl Rose.

According to Pollstar, the average Guns N’ Roses ticket on the “Not in This Lifetime” trek is going for $108.96, with an average of 51,496 tickets sold at each show. In total, the band has sold 1,390,396 tickets at the mid-year deadline, playing 27 cities and 30 shows in all. That comes out to an average gross of $5,611,111 per show and the total gross of $151.5 million.

U2’s decision to revisit The Joshua Tree album has also proved quite popular, finishing second on the list with $118.1 million. However, it should be noted that U2 achieved that figure playing 11 fewer shows than Guns N’ Roses.

Rock and metal have made a solid showing so far this year. Metallica placed fourth on the list with an estimated $88 million gross from their shows, while Red Hot Chili Peppers were sixth with $60.5 million. A little further down, Green Day are tied for eighteenth with $38.1 million. Def Leppard and Iron Maiden were also among the acts making the list.
