From its beginnings in Sturgis, S.D., The Broken Spoke Campground & Resort has evolved into one of the hot spots for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, a 14-day, multi-day and multi-event entertainment experience.

On 600 beautiful acres just north of Bear Butte State Park, the facilities include: the renowned 5,000 sq. foot swimming pool, four hot tubs, eight different bars (including poolside tiki bars), clean bathrooms, hot private showers, and the 30,000 sq. foot ride-thru biker bar. Including the onsite amenities, the rally also consists of concerts, motorcycle events, biker rodeos, a roving party bus, a mobile zip-line, helicopter rides, a free downtown shuttle, biker games and contests, and more.

This year, The Broken Spoke Campground & Resort is offering military personnel and veterans an amazing 25 percent credit back on camping and individual concert purchases at the rally. Credit will be given in Broken Spoke Bucks, a form of currency that visitors can use to pay for food and beverages at any of the Broken Spoke bars located at the pool, near the stage, or inside the Broken Spoke Saloon.

Made possible through the new partnership of Broken Spoke and Live Nation, the 2013 camping season will feature several big-name concerts. Performances include the return to the road for The Black Crowes on Sunday, Aug. 4, a night of rock from Queens of the Stone Age on Monday, Aug. 5, country music superstar Gary Allan on Wednesday, Aug. 7 and Korn on Tuesday, Aug. 6. The Broken Spoke Campground at the 2013 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally will be open from July 29 – Aug. 11.

Brian Lash, CEO of the Broken Spoke, says:

The Broken Spoke Campground & Resort has always been the place to be for bikers looking for plenty of space, great scenic views and, of course, our massive pool and party complex. This new partnership with Live Nation will enable us to also offer superstar talent to our entertainment line-up. It’s going to be big.
