In the eastern part of the state, blizzard-like conditions continue on through late Thursday due to blowing snow and wind gusts over 50 miles per hour.

Most roads in the Bismarck-Mandan region are either 'snow covered' or are labeled as having 'scattered snow/drifts', according to the North Dakota Travel Information Map provided by the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck also provided snowfall reports as of this morning.

As for the local forecast for the rest of today, blowing snow is expected to continue through the remainder of the evening with winds around 25-30 miles per hour. Wind gusts may be as high as 40 miles per hour with a high temp of about 14 today, and tonight, a low temp of 0. The wind chill for tonight is expected to be around -15.

Tomorrow, it's expected to be sunny with the high temperature forecasted at 3, with a low of -2. Wind chills for tomorrow are expected to be around -15.
