'Fargo,' the FX series based on the film of the same name, has been renewed for a third season, according to InForum.

Since its debut in 2014, 'Fargo' has become one of the most critically-acclaimed show on television, even winning the award for most outstanding miniseries at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The show's second season, which is airing now on FX, is set in 1979 in Luverne, Minnesota, and follows the story of beautician Peggy Blumquist, played by Kirsten Dunst, her husband Ed, played by Jesse Plemons, and their cover-up of a hit-and-run accident.
