Looking to celebrate the kickoff of the 2016 North Dakota State University football season with a little bison? We've got you covered.

Whether you're looking for bison in burger or medallion form, or any other kind of form for that matter, there are a few different places in Bismarck-Mandan for you to choose from.

So, without further ado, here are four places you can find bison in Bismarck-Mandan:

  • 1

    Broadway Grill & Tavern

    100 W. Broadway Ave. - Bismarck

You'll find bison all over the menu at Bismarck's Broadway Grill & Tavern. The lunch menu alone features three bison dishes, including grilled bison lettuce wraps and bison and wild rice meatballs on the starters section. The house burger is also made up of bison, two griddled patties to be exact.

On the dinner menu, you'll find two holdovers from the lunch menu, the grilled bison lettuce wraps and the bison and wild rice meatballs, plus you'll see the bison t-bone, which they call their 'Broadway Beast.' Ask for it by name.

    Jack's Steakhouse

    1201 S. 12th St. - Bismarck

If you're searching for the perfect bison, or buffalo, burger, look no further than Bismarck's Jack's Steakhouse.

Jack's buffalo burger is a 1/2 pound of ground buffalo, served on a kaiser bun with thousand island dressing.

And, don't forget, you can get 2-for-1 burgers at Jack's Steakhouse on Thursdays beginning at 4 p.m.

  • 3

    Pirogue Grill

    121 N. 4th St. - Bismarck

Bismarck's Pirogue Grill, located downtown, offers two different bison options on their menu: a soup and an entree.

The soup, which is gluten free, is a roast corn and bison soup. The entree, meanwhile, features sautéed North Dakota bison medallions with bordelaise sauce and a roast barley pilaf.

You can see Pirogue Grill's entire menu HERE.

  • 4

    The Woodhouse

    1825 N. 13th St. - Bismarck

If you're looking for another buffalo burger option, there's always The Woodhouse, which was recently named North Dakota's most iconic restaurant.

The Woodhouse doesn't have an official website, but you can find them on Facebook HERE.
