Former North Dakota State running back John Crockett will begin his first NFL season on the PUP list, after he failed his physical with the Green Bay Packers on July 29th.

Crockett was picked up as an undrafted free agent by the Packers back in May, after he didn't hear his name called during the NFL Draft.

Unfortunately for Crockett, a foot injury caused him to fail his physical with the Packers, leading to his placement on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, according to InForum.

Crockett injured the foot during minicamp back in June, according to Scout.com. Crockett underwent x-rays and an MRI, which revealed no broken bones, simply a sprain.

The Green Bay Packers begin the preseason on August 13th against the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.
