Have you ever visited the former Governors' Mansion? I have to say I've driven by it hundreds of times but have never seen the inside. The Former Governors' Mansion is not just a small piece of our North Dakota history, it is also a destination for fun summer events.

Located at 320 E. Avenue B the former Governors' mansion is a large Victorian 2 1/2 story home that also consists of a carriage house. Built in 1884 the mansion was home to 20 chief executives before the new mansion was built on the capital grounds in 1960.

Tomorrow kicks off Fun Friday's during the month of June at the mansion. From 12:00-1:30 it is a great time for kids of all ages  with music, singing, lawn games and free lemonade.

Other events coming up this summer - Yoga for Kids, game day, kite making, train day, ice cream social and more!
