We're already through the halfway point of the summer and this weekend the Bismarck region will see and feel summer temperatures.

As other parts of the nation are experiencing very hot and dry conditions, here in North Dakota, we've had our share of wet weather and temperatures have been moderate.

That will change this weekend as the National Weather Service in Bismarck is forecasting Saturday temperatures to be near 100 and the heat index will be well above the century mark.

Saturday will be the day you will want to find your cool spot. It could be taking a dip in a swimming pool, the river or maybe spending time indoors at the movie theater.

If you're worried about showers, there is a slight chance of precipitation throughout the weekend. According to the weekend forecast, the Bis-Man area is in the moderate category for severe storms Saturday.
