Father And Daughter Have The World’s Widest Tongues [FBHW]

Some world records are cool. Some are gross. This particular world record fits into the latter.

This father/daughter combo from Syracuse, NY hold the distinct title of having the widest tongues in the world.   

Byron Schlenker and his teen daughter, Emily, have tongues that are 3.1 inches and 2.89 inches wide, respectively.

Need some reference as to how wide that actually is? Pull your credit card out of your wallet and take a look at it. Their tongues are approximately as wide as that piece of plastic.

How big does your mouth have to be to house a tongue of that size? Do we even want to know?!?
