For the second time in as many years, ESPN's College GameDay will return to Fargo this Saturday for the NDSU Bison's home opener against Incarnate Word. 

Bison fans eagerly watched the game against Weber State last Saturday night after GameDay tweeted a hint that the game had implications:


Parking and Game Details

The live show will be on ESPN from 8-11 a.m. where fans can watch from Downtown Fargo or in the comfort of their own home. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. at the Fargodome against University of the Incarnate Word, a first year member of the Southland Conference. The game will broadcast on NBC North Dakota Network and ESPN 3.

Shuttles are available for pickup and return from 6 a.m. - noon from two different locations near NDSU campus:

  • South end of the R Parking Lot between 11th and 12th Ave. North
  • East Side of T Parking Lot between 11th and 12th Ave. North

Fans who wish to only visit the set of College Gameday are encouraged to use the T Lot shuttle.

In preparation for Saturday, no parking signs will be added throughout Downtown Fargo on Wednesday night so they remain clear for road closures on Thursday.

The following road closures will remain in effect until after the event is completely over on Saturday:

Thursday

  • Broadway will be closed to traffic between 2nd Ave. N. and 4th Ave. N.
  • 3rd Ave. N. will be closed to traffic between Broadway and 5th St N.
  • 5th St. N. will be closed to through traffic between 3rd Ave. N. and 4th Ave N.
  • No parking signs will be posted which will prohibit parking for Thursday evening on 2nd Ave. N. between Broadway and 5th St. N.

Friday

  • 2nd Ave. N. will be closed from the west side of Broadway to 5th St. N.
  • No parking signs will be posted which will prohibit parking on Friday evening on 4th Ave. N. between Roberts St. N. and 5th St. N. and on Broadway from 4th Ave. N. to the rail road tracks (5th Ave. N.)

Saturday

  • 4th Ave. N. will be closed from Roberts St. N. to 5th St. N., and Broadway will be closed in the 400 Block (4th Ave. N. to the railroad tracks)
  • These roads will remain closed until the conclusion of the Saturday event.
