Events Happening in Bismarck-Mandan This Weekend, October 9-10
Another busy unseasonably warm weekend is upon us, it is a great time to get out to support many local events. First of all is the 20th Annual Edith Sanford Run/Walk for Breast Cancer tonight - Friday, October 9th.
The 8K competitive walk and run begins at 6:30pm. The non-competitive walk begins at 7:45pm.
Everyone has been affected by breast cancer is some way, this is a great way to get out and support loved ones who have endured this battle.
All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Edith Sanford Breast Foundation.

Tonight, October 9th is also the Moonlight Autumn Walk at Sibley Park, hosted by Bismarck Parks and Recreation.
It is a wonderful fall evening walk along a lighted path at General Sibley Park from 7-9 p.m.
Pet friendly and refreshments will be served.

Tonight is the ghoulish opening of the Haunted Fort at Fort Abraham Lincoln. The scary action will be open for business each Friday and Saturday through Halloween.

Saturday, October 10th is Paint the Town Pink in downtown Bismarck. Shop local businesses and a portion of the sales with be donated to the Bismarck Cancer Center.
From 4-6 p.m. Broadway Grill and Tavern will host the Paint the Town Pink Party with appetizers, Pink Michelob Ultra and a silent auction.

Saturday, October 10th is also the the annual Mandan Zombie Crawl.
Action starts with registration at Vicky's Sports Bar at 6:30 p.m. and the Mayhem hits at 8 p.m.
