The North Dakota State Bison once again proved why they're one of the best teams in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, placing eleven players total on the All-MVFC first and second teams.

Seven Bison players were named to the first team, including fullback Andrew Bonnet, left tackle Joe Haeg, left guard Zack Johnson, defensive end Greg Menard, middle linebacker Nick DeLuca, cornerback CJ Smith, and punter Ben Lecompte.

No other school had more players named to the first team than NDSU, according to GoBison.com.

NDSU also had four players named to the second team, including running back King Frazier, tight end Luke Albers, right guard Jeremy Kelly, and long snapper James Fisher.

One name that was noticeably absent from the All-MVFC first and second teams was quarterback Carson Wentz, who, along with wide receiver RJ Urzendowski and defensive tackle Nate Tanguay, received honorable mention. Wentz has missed much of his senior season after injuring his wrist earlier this season.

The Bison won a share of its fifth straight conference championship and will face Montana Saturday, December 5th, in the second round of the FCS playoffs.
