Eagles get Run out of New Orleans

It's starting to look like a lost season for the Eagles. 

The Eagles were crushed by the Saints today 48-7 in the Mercedes Benz dome and it looked like the coaching staff was lost.

Carson Wentz looked like a shell of himself and the Eagles season is starting to look like it is slipping away from them. He was 19/33 for 156 and 3 picks, hardly world beater stats. I will give him credit though, he never quit.

I guess the game plan was to get into a track meet with the Saints, but outside of Carson, the team doesn't have the healthy firepower to keep up with Drew Brees and co. This is where a solid running game comes to play.

In the game highlights below, it was all Brees, a tough game to watch if you were a Philly fan and it was tough seeing Carson overthrow and underthrow balls. Hopefully, his receivers can get on the same page with him next week when they host the lowly Giants.
