College football is finally back and what better way to get the season started than to watch two of the best teams in college football's second tier?

The NDSU Bison and Montana Grizzlies play in the FCS kickoff game in Missoula on Saturday, August 29. The Bison are fresh off their fourth straight FCS championship making them one of two NCAA teams to win four consecutive football championships at any level.

So what makes this game so exciting?

The Griz have a new coach this year. His name is Bob Stitt and he was previously head of the Colorado School of Mines Orediggers for 15 years. He took a school with almost no football success and lead them to 13 winning seasons in 15 years. This also included three conference championships, an impressive offense, and a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title. Griz fans are so confident they have trended a new hashtag on twitter, #stitthappens.

As to be expected, Bison fans have been counting down the days until kickoff by posting some pretty hilarious photos on social media.

Only 4 days until the world premiere of this late-summer blockbuster! Tune into ESPN at 2:30pm on Saturday. We ain't afraid of no Griz! #WhoYouGonnaCall

Last year, Bison came out on top against Montana in Fargo with a score of 22-10. That game, Adam Keller broke a school record with five field goals. The two teams have not played in Missoula since 2003 when NDSU fought back from a 24-2 halftime deficit to win 25-24.

The herd is rolling into Montana with confidence and pride as fans cover the state in green and gold.

Fargo, tranquility base here. The Bison have landed. That's one small step for man. One giant hoof for Bison Nation!#MontanaTakeover #ThundarArmstrong
