Having grown up in the 90's, you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that any genre of music is better than grunge.

It's hard to really enjoy a band covering a tune by Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, or Nirvana. It isn't, however, difficult to enjoy those songs done in Nintendo-style 8-bit.

The above video, done by Filthy Frackers, features grunge songs by Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, The Melvins, Mad Season, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam all reimagined as songs from 8-bit Nintendo games.

They also did a video for Temple of the Dog's 'Hunger Strike' back in April:

Hopefully, this is a trend that continues. Just imagine what they could do with 80's hair band videos!
