The check point that has become common place for over 2 months has been removed from Highway 1806, South of Mandan.

The officials that were at the check point are now reassigned and available to help with other calls in Morton Country and the traffic stop has been removed from the highway.

Authorities say the traffic stop could be restored at anytime if needed.

Members of the of the Standing Rock Tribe have said the road bock have divided the community.
