Bismarck has another state championship to celebrate, as the Century High boys swimming team brought home their first ever state championship yesterday. 

Century had no problem beating Minot, scoring 448.5 points to their 379.5. The Patriots were led by Dylan Sether, who won both of his individual events (200 freestyle and 100 butterfly) and helped Century win two relay events (200 medley and 400 freestyle). Sether was also named the Senior Athlete of the Year.

Other local award winners include Coach of the Year Dennis Kemmesat (Century), First Team All State Members Austin Schmidt (Bismarck), Zach Grosz, Kyler Alme, Taylor Crothers, Nathan Hogue, Collin Kemmesat, Dylan Sether,  and Loren Sether (Century).
