Thursday night, the Philadelphia Eagles chose North Dakota State's Carson Wentz as their quarterback of the future when they selected him second overall in the NFL Draft. Friday, Wentz addressed the Philadelphia media for the first time.

Wentz first thanked the organization, ownership, and coaches for making him the second pick in the draft, before taking questions from reporters.

The questions ranged from asking about Wentz's thoughts on the Eagles' new head coach, Doug Pederson, to whether or not he's been to Philadelphia in the past.

Wentz also discussed how he 'bleeds winning,' waiting to get the starting spot at North Dakota State, and his relationship with his older brother, Zach.

The next step for Wentz will be attending the Eagles' rookie minicamp, which takes place May 13th through 15th. Organized team activities begin on May 17th.
