Carson Wentz has finally been cleared to play this week for the Eagles

According to 247 sports;

Carson Wentz has been medically cleared for contact and will start Sunday for the Philadelphia Eagles, per head coach Doug Pederson. Wentz has been out nine months after having ACL and LCL surgery suffered in a Week 14 games against the Los Angeles Rams last December.

There will be no gradual process to get Wentz ready. The Eagles are full steam ahead.

"When they give us a green light that he's cleared, then we know that it'll be time to really get him ramping it up and get him ready for the games," said Eagles offensive coordinator Mike Groh. "He's out there practicing all our plays. We don't have any restrictions in the play calls in practice. He's doing the things that we'd ask him to do in the games and he’s getting ready to do that."

"He’s cleared, he goes. He’s our guy," Pederson said. "We drafted him to be our guy."

WR Alshon Jeffery is coming back as well so the Eagles offense should be as close to full strength as possible this year.
