A huge congrats is in order for Bismarck High graduate, Dexter Werner, as he will be playing in Germany’s Pro-B division.

Werner went to Bismarck High School followed by North Dakota State University. According to GoBison.com, he is a second-team All-Summit League honoree and won the the Sixth Man of the year award...twice. The athlete also threw javelin and placed 4th at the Summit League Outdoor Championships.

KFYR-TV reports that Werner, a forward, has signed with a basketball team in Germany's Pro-B Division. They go on to say that the team Werner has signed with had the best season last year.

Werner was a well known basketball player at Bismarck High School where he was the all-time leading scorer and rebounder and a three-time all state performer.

Werner used his Instagram to reach out to his supporters.
