A Bismarck woman decided to use a knife for more than carving a turkey for the holiday and she ended up in jail because of her actions, according to the Bismarck Tribune.

Meralies Figueroa Escobar, 31, from Bismarck was booked with felony aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, when she, allegedly attacked another person with the weapon. The incident took place about 1 a.m., Friday morning.

The attacked took place in the 2100 block of East Divide Avenue in an apartment complex.

Not only did Escobar threaten the other woman with the folded knife, she also bit the other woman on the shoulder.

The victim received a cut on her leg and sustained superficial cuts to her arms.
