2016 marks the 20th year of the Bismarck Bobcats' existence and they unveiled a new logo to celebrate.

The team unveiled the logo, which features the roman numeral for 20 and nine stars, earlier this month:

According to BismarckBobcats.com, the logo was designed in conjunction with K1 Sportswear, who is an official jersey supplier of the North American Hockey League.

So, what do the nine stars mean? Well, the three black stars represent the team's three league titles (2003, 2004, 2010), while the six gold stars represent the team's six playoff division titles.

The logo will be featured on the team's home jerseys this season, while an alternate will be used on the road. A patch commemorating 20 years will also be on the jerseys. The team will unveil the uniform designs later this year.

The Bobcats will begin their 2016-17 season against the Aberdeen Wings on September 17th.
