Bismarck Bobcats Drop Preseason Opener to Minot Minotauros 3-1
The Bismarck Bobcats began their 20th season with a 3-1 preseason loss on the road against the Minot Minotauros Tuesday night, September 6th.
The two teams remained scoreless deep into the second period, until Minot was able to find the back of the net with 5:32 left to go.
The Minotauros added two more goals in the third period, courtesy of defenseman Cody Enns and forward Spencer Zweiner.
The Bobcats managed to get one goal on the board before the end of regulation, a Luke Millen rebound, but it wasn't enough to beat the Minotauros on their home ice.
The two teams will battle it out again Wednesday night, September 7th, but this time they'll be on the Bobcats home ice. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m. at the VFW Sports Center in Bismarck.
