“Barney” Creator’s Son Shot a Guy

Growing up in the 90's, I was bombarded with all things "Barney"...Yes, that stupid purple dinosaur. I couldn't get away from him. And, now, he's back in the spotlight after his creator's son shot a guy. You can't make this stuff up.

Patrick Leach, the son of "Barney" creator Sharon Leach, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he shot his neighbor and then fled the scene. Leach has been released on $1 million bond, which I'm sure his mother helped him out with because...well, she created "Barney". I'm going to assume she has a lot of cash.

If anyone should be arrested, it should be Sharon Leach herself. I can't even begin to fathom how many TVs met their untimely demise as a result of a parent being forced to watch "Barney" for hours. That lady should be the one headed to jail!
