Argument Over Beer Leads Minnesota Woman to Bite Husband’s Ear Off

A St. Cloud, Minnesota woman is facing a first-degree assault charge after she allegedly bit off part of her husband's ear during an argument over beer.

Officers were called to the home of 37-year old Jamie Elrod Friday night, December 18th, to investigate an alleged assault, according to InForum.

When officers arrived, they noticed that Elrod's husband was missing part of his ear, which they found near a trail of blood.

While questioning the couple, the victim informed the officers that he and Elrod had gotten into an argument over beer, which led to the alleged ear biting.

During an interview with police, Elrod stated that she didn't know what happened to her husband's ear. However, after reviewing calls Elrod made in jail, it was determined that she did, in fact, bite off her husband's ear.

Beer will, obviously, make you do some very crazy things.
